BIOGRAPHY

2006:	Between the Berlin gig and early 2006, Criterion took a little breake to do some writing for their upcoming release. Which at this moment, 01.10.06 have no name. The release will be a killer. Watch out there!! It will damage the earth!!! They promise!!
2005:	The release of Dominant was set to 17.05.05. Criterion gained a lot of good feedbacks on the release. Such as "The best death metal release" after the release of Dominant, Criterion did some concerts up here in the north. They also got invited to do two shows in Germany. The one and the biggest was "Popkomm". The biggest showcase in Europe. This was taken place in Berlin. Criterion was satsified with the show, and so was the crows. (Thanks a lot). They also did a show in Bischofswerda, great show. Crowded a lot of metalfans.
2004:	The Dominant was recorded in Space Valley
2003:	Kim got in touch with Carsten from Morbid Records, and they where eager to get a record deal with Criterion. So the fun began.
2002:	The killer demo Blackened Memories was recorded, and soon ready to be, what become, Criterions breakthrough.
2000:	Eager to get a record deal, a new demo was recorded and sent to several record labels, withouth luck in need of getting a own sound, Kim startet writing on new material. The next 2 years.
1997:	The band wnt to school to study music for a year, and upgraded their skills.
1994:	Kim got his head up for Chuck Shuldiner and startet to write own material. Suddenly Criterion had gone into the genre of deah metal. The other two members didn't have the right skills to join further, so Kenneth and Rene was innstalled now the band was complete and things startet to happen. More material, feeds. A demo recording, and several gigs in Norway unfortunatley school, military and girlfriends distracted the bands further development.
1992:	Criterion was formed by John and Kim. We started out as a Metallica cover band with two other members and played for aprox 2 years.
